VisionChina Media Inc (previously CDMTV)

VisionChina Media Inc. (“VisionChina”, NASDAQ: VISN) completed its initial public offering of 13 500 000 American Depositary Shares (“ADS”) on 6 December 2007, raising approximately US$ 108 million.  The listing was priced at US$8 per ADS, compared to the US$2.24 VenFin paid when it invested US$10 million in the company at the beginning of 2007.  VisionChina operates an out-of-home advertising network on mass transportation systems in China that reaches approximately 26 million viewers each day, according to CTR Market Research.  Through 33 000 LCD screens on mainly buses in 14 of China’s most affluent cities, VisionChina has the unique ability to deliver real time news, weather and entertainment programming.  VisionChina generates most of its income through the selling of advertising space on this network.
